Update Failures

Two machines each running OS X 10.7.2 and received update notification. MacBook Pro updated properly with update manager installing the latest Camera Raw and Adobe Extensions Manager.

Second machine- MacPro, first failed with error message Error Loading Updater Workflow. Also running 10.7.2, CS Master Collection 5.5 and all updates current.

Found suggestions on on of the boards to reinstall Java for OS X, boot into Single User mode, repair permissions and then reinstall Adobe Application Manager 2.0 and then reboot.

Subsequent to doing this, I could just select Update in a CS 5.5 app (in this case, just used Photoshop). It did launch Adobe updater and downloaded the two files. However, installation failed with message to the effect of installation failed, Quit and try again later. I've tried this several times and am unable to get beyond this error message.

Now am able to install updates manually. Still getting failures with AUM and after failure, AUM crashes. Had previously seen that thread. Uninstalling/reinstalling CS5.5 is just too much of a hassle and not worth it if I am able to update manually.
