I am way behind on upgrading. I have CS2, I want to get up to at least CS4 or 5 or even 6. Do I have to get one first then make a jump? Can I still upgrade and how do I do it? The adobe site seems to focus all on CC.
I feel as though I don't know where to begin.
There is no upgrade path from CS2 to anything. If anything newer is available then you will have to pay full price for it. CS6 is the only non-Cloud version Adobe might still be selling though they make it difficult to find the purchasing pages if they are... meaning I do not have a link to offer

There is no way to upgrade from CS2 to a newer version. Either you change to the Elements versions (Photoshop Elements) or you go to the CC Photography plan (Lightroom and Photoshop | Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan).
Why do you don't want CC?

I just want to be able to own it and pay for it once. I use it everyday for my photography.

Thank you, what about CS3? I think I have that too. The reason I don't want CC is that I use it every day and I just want to pay for it and own it.
Thank you for your help!
