upgrading mac, should I redownload my adobe CC apps?

I want to upgrade my mac from yosemite to elcapitan?

how about my adobe CC apps? it will unistalled automatically? can i backup using my time machine?

Do NOT use Time Machine... it does not work with Adobe programs due to hidden registration files that do not copy

If you have the very latest Cloud programs, everything SHOULD stay in place and continue working
