Hello OSX 10.8.5 which I think is Mountain Lion is not compatible with Photoshop CC2015 which is the reason for the message. The most recent version of Photoshop supported on Mountain Lion is Photoshop CS6. I'm not a Mac user for Photoshop but am pretty sure OSX 10.9 Mavericks is compatible with your system and also runs the latest version of Photoshop. So the solution is to upgrade your OS to Mavericks or better and then it should work.

Apple has removed OS X 10.9 Mavericks from downloads.
They want everyone to update to El Capitan. For people using older Creative Suites, Yosemite & El Capitan are total crapshoots, if you can even get them to install, things are buggy and slow.
Creative Suite required a minimum of 10.9 Mavericks but it is no longer available for older OSX users to download to upgrade. Stuck between a rock and a hard place.
The only people that can ever download Mavericks 10.9 are people that have previously downloaded 10.9 and it shows in their Apple ID account.
Everyone else is SOL.
Google this for a volcano of frustration and anger,

Wow as a Windows user I didn't know that. Apple's policy seems to give their users a really raw deal-they simply don't appear to care about reverse compatibility. So as far as the OP is concerned they are stuck with CS6 assuming they have that, otherwise they are frozen out of recent editions of Photoshop altogether?
Being cynical this is just a means to get people to buy a new machine to run the new OS, but with all the video card issues with Macs on Yosemite and El Capitan, it makes you wonder why people don't vote with their feet and buy a Windows machine and have a nice weekend break away somewhere with the money they will save. I regularly encounter Mac people who think Windows is technically inferior and the hardware second rate and that's just plain untrue, but Apple play on that as if nothing else they are excellent marketers.
