Where is my serial number?

I just bought LR4. I cannot find the serial number anywhere on the box, CD, or sleeve. Help!

Where did you buy the software from?

Software shipped by Adobe will always have the serial number on the packaging.

I bought it from Amazon.com. When I spoke to their representatives, they said the product comes from Adobe... so it should be legitimate, right?

Presumably but without seeing the packaging I could not say definitively.

I've never seen a box from Adobe which did not contain the serial number on a sticker on the sleeve inside.

Did you register the software with Adobe? If so, you can log in  to your account on the Adobe website and retrieve the serial number there.

I didn't register it with Adobe. I'm not sure how to do that...

I just ordered it from Amazon on Friday, it came in the mail Tuesday, and I opened it today.

Here are some pictures of the packaging.

And no, there is no serial number on either side of the sleeve for the CD. I checked very thoroughly.
