why can't I update premiere?

My Premiere CC is 7.2.2 and I would like to update it but CC says I haven't even installed it yet.  How do I install update, not a whole version of Premiere, which I already use, and am using right this second?

Nicb are you able to see the updates when selecting Help>Updates within Premiere Pro CC?  If not then which system optimizers do you typically utilize?

Hi Nic,

You will not be able to update Premiere Pro 7.2.2 because that was Premiere Pro CC's last DOT release.

So that means I need to install the new version of Premiere, even though I have 7.2.2, right?

If you have 7.2.2, you have the latest update for Premiere Pro CC.

But the most recent version of Premiere Pro is 8.2 which is also called Premiere Pro CC 2014.2.
