Can't be downloaded securely

I'm trying to download the free trial of Adobe photoshop Elements but I just get a pop up message of "can't be downloaded securely" with a description that continuing could install malware on my computer. As I've had huge problems before with downloaded malware and change to my computer, I'm very cautious about doing this. Where can I find a secure way of downloading?

I paid for the Photoshop Elements 2020, if I download the trial version how will I get the complete version I paid for?

The trial version is just the full version that doesn't have your serial number entered yet.

Help > Sign in from the Editor menu and enter your serial number.

It's pretty much the same process to download the trial or the paid product, so if one doesn't work, the other one probably won't. Are you able to share a screen shot of the security pop-up?
