CC app updates taking 10-12 hours each

I have the latest adobe CC desktop app, running on Windows 10. The latest app updates are taking 10 to 12 hours EACH. This is for Lightroom, Photoshop, AE, Premiere, Media Encoder, Audition.

Typically, they take 5 minutes each on my internet connection. I'll confirm the obvious: there doesn't seem to be a problem with my connection. No errors are reported, just painfully slow. At his rate, it will take me 6 nights to update all my apps.

I don't know why it's taking this long, but it's not practical at all. Is this something others have been able to remedy?

It appears that a few days of waiting fixed the issue... I'll chalk it off to internet routing or something. Weird. I definitely could connect to the servers though.

I'm actually in SoCal too... Maybe something in my setup isn't working right anymore? I just updated a game on steam today on another computer, same connection, it went very fast...

confirm that you can connect to the secure adobe servers.

for help with that and other common secure adobe.com connection problems read, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html

how do you confirm? Isn't it obvious since a download completes, it just takes 24 hours though??

Ah my bad, I thought this was a generic post tag unrelated to the thread at hand, somehow.

I encountered an issue while trying to contact the licence server, at step Number 2. The response was:

400 Bad Request

Request Header Or Cookie Too Large

This could be the reason? I have a second computer (laptop) with adobe CC. It was taking forever to update as well. I took it to work and the update went through fine.

What to do about this? I don't have ANY issues with any other software, and I run a lot of subscriptions. I have Red Giant Link, Autodesk... Lots of software with license checking on the internet, only have an issue with Adobe CC. I'm not inclined to think my firewal is an issue, but I'll check. Usually those cause issues right away at install. I've had CC work fine until now. Still, I wouldn't count out a software update on Windows or Kaspersky.

clear your adobe.com cookies or try using a different browser.  (that's more likely a browser issue than a connection issue.)

Hi...   I've had the same issue and then noticed that the CC app itself needed to be updated under the "Assets" tab.  Once that update went through, then the rest of the App updates installed normally.
