On a computer I hadn't been using for a while, running macOS Catalina, I recently upgraded Creative Cloud to 5.1.0.407, which is the current version. Now, every time I boot the computer and log in, Creative Cloud launches automatically.
Creative Cloud is not in my System Preferences for user login items. My Creative Cloud preferences have Launch Creative Cloud on Login set to off.
If I then do Creative Cloud > Quit Creative Cloud, I get the dialog:
If you quit now, the following processes will stop working:
And it offers to hide Creative Cloud instead of quitting.
However, if I look at Creative Cloud's list of applications, nothing is in the process of being updated. All applications show either Open, Install, or (for Camera Raw) Up to Date.
How do I get Creative Cloud to stop auto-launching?
Have something to add?
