Installation of CS6 Error: Media DB Error: 6

I am trying to download Creative Suite Standard Design CS6, after uninstalling my version of CS5 I am getting an error after selecting the Install process. The error says "Inconsistency in the installer database" and the error report is as follows.

Exit Code: 15  Summary  - 0 fatal error(s), 1 error(s), 0 warning(s)  ERROR: Media DB Error : 6.

I have checked the logs and tried everything. Can someone help me with this issue?

if though this refers to cs3, follow the solution 1 suggestion:

run the cleaner and retry per Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
