Hello, just installed PhotoShop 6 on a students macbook. We have a volume license account so this individual account signin is useless, but that's not the issue.
Mac OSX, we have restricted use of files for students, they are allowed to run applications. Allowed access to Adobe Photoshop CS6. Software opens, but then gets message not allowed to run application adobe_licutil.
What/where is that so we can modify our security settings to allow this to operate?

Are you able to run Photoshop CS6 on a standard user accounts without utilizing Parental Controls? Which version of Mac OS are you using?

Jeff,
Adobe is trying to run the adobe_licutil application out of a folder that is not approved to run applications. We need that location to allow the software to work.

The answer would be yes. The issue is that the file location for Adobe_licutil is in the /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Application Manager/P6/ location and if you use any Apple management and disable Applications from runnin in the /Applications/Utilities location then the Adobe Licensing will not work. I also determined that the Update Startup Utility also runs from this location and not the actuall Applications Folder.
