Dreamweaver Not Opening?

Hi everybody, my copy of Dreamweaver, (2021), as stopped working. This started yesterday. When I open it, it never opens! It just stops responding and you just have to force quit the application. Is this version out of date or is there some other reason for the issue? Thanks for your help.

Has anything else changed on your computer? Also the latest version of Monterey is 12.7.6. Have you tried updating to a later version of Mac OS to see if the issue resolves?

Has anything else changed on your computer? Also the latest version of Monterey is 12.7.6. Have you tried updating to a later version of Mac OS to see if the issue resolves?

Did you receive a recent OS update?

Try launching DW as Administrator. 

Win: Right-click on icon, select More Options, Run as Administrator.

 

Failing that, try Restore Preferences.

Thanks Nancy, I’ll try that as soon as I can and update the post with the results. I’ve got a pretty fully work schedule tonight and tomorrow but should get time to have a look at it on Thursday! 🙂

I had a Teams and Zoom meeting with Nayan Kankariya from Adobe today and he said to install the latest update to the Mac OS, which I did. I still have Monterey 12.7.6 but now DW works. I don’t know why!

This issue has been fixed now. The procedure involved updating the OS so I have marked that as correct. I’m not totally sure if that was the only issue but it probably was! Anyway, I updated from Monterey 12.2.1 to 12.7.6 and installed the latest version of DW and now it works! 🙂
