It would seem that this bug has not been fixed yet, there are posts going back several years on the topic. The fault is NOT at my end, it is directly related to Dreamweaver and yes I have tried all of the suggestions in previous threads.
Surely it cannot be the case that the solution is to abandon Dreamweaver entirely and revert to a Microsoft product for coding which is free - because it is better? Similarly Filezilla should not be the answer here.
I am on version 21.6 build 15711 - rolling back to version 21.2 is not ideal.
I have work to do and restarting Dreamweaver EVERY time I change a file and upload to the server is just not great for workflow... This occurs across many files types, does not seem to be localized to images or anything else.
Extremely frustrating.
Is there a solution in the pipeline?
