Updated to Sonoma, now Dreamweaver doesn't work

After updating to Sonoma, I launched Dreamweaver (v21.1), and now I can't see any code in any document, just blank grey. There's no cursor. Viewing with 'Design' shows a janky version of previously created pages, but viewing with 'Code' shows nothing, and 'Split' shows the janky page, but the code area is blank.

I've tried updating DW to 21.4, but every time, the progress icon stalls at 93%, then I get the note "Progress is slower than usual. Working on resolving the issue…" Then it tells me, "Update failed."

I'm dead in the water. Grateful for any help. Thank you!

What version of Sonoma? There are many noted bugs on the early releases of Sonoma and DW was completely unusable before 14.3.x.

Yikes, I didn't know DWwasn't working before now. I tend to wait a long time before updating my OS, but I was getting nagged daily, and was having issues with other apps, so finally bit the bullet.

@mr.indie,

New operating systems are a mixed bag of tricks particularly when installed over older apps.

For best results, perform a clean install on top your new OS.

1. Run the Adobe Cleaner Tool below.

2. Upon completion, Quit & Restart your computer.

3. Install the latest CC Desktop App, DW, etc...

Hope that helps.
