Access to file denied when I try to save

New Here ,

I am currently working on a project for class where we have to create a website in Dreamweaver. I am trying to save my pages in my site but I get the message that is shown in the picture below. When I try to open the html file in Chrome, the content of certain pages doesn't show up. Any way that I can fix this? Screen Shot 2022-04-25 at 1.05.22 PM.png

An error like that usually means you don't have full access to write to the location your files are supposed to be saved to.

Typically, in a shared user environment like school computers, the IT department would need to be the ones to fix that for you.

It also appears you do not have a site defined in DW. You'll have all kinds of problems with the program if that's the case. Defining a Site is Step #1 to working with DW to build just about anything: https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/how-to/define-a-dreamweaver-site.html without it, DW doesn't know how to manage your assets corrrectly.

Are you working in a computer lab at school or is this your personal computer?

This only means Adobe Software Engineers continue to fail at making Adobe CC better overall! This SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING! I never had this problem of saving my work to a drive I have complete control and access to! This is just pathetic! And the worst of all is the awful Adobe Creative Cloud Buggy and broken app that makes everything function worse and slower, which leads to unexpected crashes! The Adobe removal tool to remove Creative Cloud App is BS, because it doesn't actually remove the app! Adobe needs to get their act together, especially since they charge for these apps! It's unreal!

You're responding to a 2 year old topic.

I've been using Dreamweaver for decades and never encountered problems saving files to my local computer hard drive either.
