This is my first post on these forums, so bare with me!

I created and designed a prototype for an app idea that I had. Is there any way to move the layers from my prototype from Adobe XD over to Dreamweaver to code it into the app I want it to be?

Also, If anyone has an idea on who to get in touch with to form a team and work on the coding/programming aspect of my app. It would be greatly appreciated.

You will be able to export assets to Dreamweaver as per Learn how to export production-ready assets from Adobe Experience Design as PNG, SVG, and PDF files. .

However, the coding (HTML and CSS) will need to be done within the confines of Dreamweaver.

I read the tutorial on exporting from XD to Dreamweaver.  It is all well and good for those who use Mac, but what about those of us who use PC's?  The tutorial also shows how to export images, but what about functionality?  I was ecstatic to find Muse some years ago and was thrilled to be able to build websites with little or no coding.  I'm a graphic designer, not a programmer or HTML coder, and when I found Muse I was happy.  Now that Muse is EOL, I have been stressing out trying to find an alternative.  I've used Dreamweaver in the past, but it has been so long that I have forgotten the code that I knew.  My life is so busy and Muse was so perfect and time-saving to do what I needed without all the extra effort.  I need more information on how to export from XD to a functional website than that tutorial provides.

Seems like you might need something like Webflow. I think there are others like it out there as well.

I wish there was a thumbs down button.

XD is not a replacement for Muse.  Nothing close in fact.  XD is strictly a prototyping tool for UI/UX designers (think of team settings) where designs are handed off to skilled programmers who then write the necessary code to make it all work.  What's the point in that you ask?  I don't know.  I've been asking that same question ever since XD came out.  But basically, If you think you can create a fully functioning web app with XD and no coding skills,  you are mistaken.

For those who wish to build web apps visually, have a look at DMX Zone's extensions for Dreamweaver  (similar to Muse widgets)  or their desktop app called Wappler.

Sadly, Adobe has no replacement for Muse except Adobe Portfolio which is an online site builder and portfolio site rolled into one.  Portfolio comes free with a paid Creative Cloud plan.  It ties in with Lightroom collections and Behance (another online venue for photographers and designers).  And while Portfolio is fun & easy to use, no code involved, it also has limitations.

Finally, there is Adobe Spark, another Adobe innovation that can be used for creating  social graphics, 1 page newsletters, press releases or storytelling.  Not a replacement for Muse, perhaps but an option nevertheless.

it's really strange that the XD prerelease never heard, nor studied, the requests about a possible export of the content structuring in a basic HTML?
