Background Activity window closes before I can read error

Every time I try to put my site files to the remote server it gives me an error and says file not transferred, but the window closes before I can figure out why the files are not being put to the server. I was having a problem putting files so I had to use an outside ftp program. This only happens with a particular site, my other sites the window seems to stay open until I close it but there are also no error messages. WOuldn't it make sense to keep the window open when there is an error? I tried re-putting all of my files back on the server using the seperate ftp program to see if that would fix it and no still not working.

THank you, I contacted  Adobe and found that I had to reinstall DW, probably some corrupt files because that wouldn't work before the reinstall. But after the reinstall it worked.
