Data Source Username

Whenever I try and set a new recordset (query) on a .cfm page to a particular database it always asks for a user name and password. I have tried all user names and passwords I can think of for root, sql, coldfusion admin etc but with no luck. What username and password can it be asking for?

Problem solved. I needed to chmod 777 on the mysql file!
