how do i get reed of the line or at least make it stay smaller to match the backgroung image?

Thank you so much for the link. I can removed the bar <hr> now but what if i just want to make it smaller? Is there a way ?

CSS. Put this in your style sheet:

hr { width: 50px; }

Change the width to suit.
