Dreamweaver 2017 is killing me. How do I rollback to my previous version?

New Here ,
Nov 09, 2016 Nov 09, 2016

"Unable to launch ... please be sure this application exists and that there is enough memory to run it."  I get this when trying to open a file for editing.  When I change preferences, dreabmweaver is "not responding".  I have a large PC and have been using many of the Adobe Creative Cloud apps for years.  Since this 2017 DW upgrade, I can't do my job.

How do I return my installation to the earlier version of Dreamweaver?  Anybody?

ALsp - Dreamweaver is not an option under "Find Additional Apps" or at least I do not see it when I pull up "Creative Cloud".

Here's two shots as I scrolled to get everything below "Previous Versions".

Click the blue All Apps link in the Find Additional Apps bar
In the dropdown that comes up, choose the bottom-most option "View Previous Versions"
That will then populate the Find Additional Apps heading with programs, DW included, and the install icons will be dropdown menus.

Hmm. "View Previous Versions" is not an option. The bottom most is "Mobile and Web Design" and I selected that. Still no Dreamweaver icon.

Are you a paid subscriber?

Previous versions aren't available if you're running a trial.

Fritz - I should be. This isn't a trail version. But I can check to see if there is anything weird with the IT department and how they purchased this. I believe we have 6 licenses for our company - so it should not be a trial version.

AH!

Volume licensing is different. You'll need to contact Adobe directly.

Mister Jon Fritz II! Thank You!

You led me in the right direction.

Turns out I was logged in under my personal Adobe ID for development. I changed my log in to the corporate one and now it's like Christmas. Yay! Rolling the 2017 Dreamweaver back!

And thanks to everyone who contributed - Thank you for your time!

Nancy - Yeah, my screen shot above shows that I don't have that option (3).

Also, make sure, if you are a paying subscriber, that you're logged into the CC Desktop app with the correct Adobe Id.

You can check which ID you're logged in under by clicking the Gear Icon and choosing Preferences

The ID there must match your ID used to subscribe.

You can re-install DW CC 2015 and run that instead. See below:

Untitled-1.png

See "View Previous Versions" at the bottom in blue text? Click on that and scroll down to look for Dreamweaver and select the CC 2015 version. You might have to apply and update after installing however to build 16.0.0.3.
