A user of ours is having issues with their Dreamweaver (20.2) for the past week, when loading up, the splash screen appears and gets to the initialising files where it hangs and then crashes.
This is intermitent, sometimes it will work after 3-4 attempts, others much longer.
We've tried resetting preferences, uninstall/re-install and even installed a earlier version (20.1) to no avail.
IF i run as administrator it loads up normally, however has issues with signing in and looping (different issue)
Is there a way to delete/repair user profiles or any related file for it to repair at all?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the exact same issues as the OP and followed your directions. And it worked! I have been dealing with the shutdowns for a year now, so thank you so much!

Before re-installing, try each of the following in this order. If one doesn't work, try the next.
1. Update your graphics drivers from the manufacturer's website.
2. Restore Dreamweaver Preferences, restart computer.
https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/restore-preferences-dreamweaver.html
3. Run the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove old Adobe/Creative cloud files from the system, re-install Creative Cloud, Dreamweaver etc... and restart computer.
4. Boot up in Safe Mode with networking.

1) What is the OS are you using
2) Can you please share the crash dump with us.
3) Are some files opened on startup when Dreamweaver launches.
Thanks
