I JUST purchased the entire Creative cloud and Dreamweaver will not open at all. Is this a known problem?

That's a response for Windows issues. Have you been using this computer for awhile and recently upgraded to 10.12? Can you try logging in as another user or as a guest and see if it launches. If it is, it could be a corrupt user profile in which case you may need to create another user account on the machine to use permanently and move your documents and preferences from the old account to the new one. I've had this happen to me a few times on my Macbook Pro and it's not uncommon.

Sounds like something might not have installed properly. Have you tried re-starting your machine or re-installing the software? Also, what OS are we talking about?

Yes. I have uninstalled it 3 times now and re-installed it. Restarted my computer 4 times. NOTHING happens. I'm frustrated. When I try to open Dreamweaver, it shows in the dock for about 3 seconds and then disappears. All other programs seem to open fine, but this is the one I bought the suite for.
I have Sierra 10.12.1

If it won't open at all, try rebooting your computer.
Right-click on desktop icon and select run as Administrator.
Usually, you only have to do this the first time you launch newly installed apps.

I don't see anywhere on my Mac where it says Run as Administrator.
Is there a set of steps I need to follow to get there on the Mac? I'm running OS 10.12.1 Sierra

I didn't know you were on a Mac. So ignore my 1st reply.
You may need to get Java SE 6 Runtime. I know some Adobe products require it and others do not.
Download Java for OS X 2015-001

Sierra, and then Apple advised I upgrade to High Sierra.
Then was on tech support with Adobe and let them control my computer for about 2+ hours. Still with no resolve.
They said they would get back to me and did not.
Cannot believe it. The application still won't open at all. All other CC '17 apps do.
We tried uninstalling / reinstalling a few times.
I am glad I kept my old CS6 installed. I was able to launch the CS6 application. - I think it's that Oracle Java applet ... it's not offering a newer version to be compatible with the new DW CC.
