Hello Helpers...
Trying to connect to my remote pages via CS5, previously CS3 which worked great for me, but was cancelled by Adobe, as most of U certainly know... Line to server and local pages runs as it should.
The issue is with 'Version Control' that, so far, will not open my own flood gate. Even Help Desk of
the Server Co. is in the dark. Nobody knows the correct formula to gain access from the Repositary Path.
Incl. please find a screen shot of relevant Site Setup, into which we entered all kinds of infos with
variations, to no avail. The lines U see here are filled with baloney. Which info has to go onto the
open line is the Mill $ question..!
Thank U mucho for suggestions.

CS5 is obsolete software from 12+ years ago. I don't remember much about it, sorry. It's been too long. There have been many significant changes to the web and Dreamweaver since then.
Nowadays, people use version control through Git repository.

I should have mentioned that I'm a Mac User, sorry... Not everything that
works with Dos does so on Apple PC's. To me the GIT solution sounds
like another layer of rails on top of the solid & proven ones below. Why
do we have to complicate our workflow; Another "sign in" + password..?
Without 'version control', we were doing just fine. Seems like I may have
to follow the advice from the Server Co's team, and switch to the other
program. Many years ago, when I signed up with them, DW was the way
to go. Now, I happen to be 1 of few holdouts. Sigh, sigh...

Regardless of which platform you use Win/Mac, Subversion must be installed on your system. And you must know where it's installed so you can reference it in your settings.
I still say nobody should be using outdated systems & software. But whatever...
Good luck.

I see, Nancy...
"Subversion", why..? I took the time to learn about GIT. I am a single Operator, with 'version control' objectively on the Server,
in 'local pages'. Every move I make, every change I decide on,
are faithfully recorded there. The same probably goes for the
'remote pages' after a 'put' command. How much more control or
double trouble do I need..? If DW CS5 insists on a GIT (or similar) file, what do I enter into it..? Would the pre-publishing file, where all pages, new and not so, with all neccessary content going to the Server, on the PC suffice..? Sorry, but I am quite puzzled here.

"Subversion", why..?

Because your screenshot shows you're using "Subversion" as your version control. And you're still using CS5 which is obsolete software from 2010. That's why.
Modern software users who have a paid Creative Cloud subscription use GIT for version control.
