Hi Community

First time user so hoping you can help me out.

I've noticed that my properties bar info is cutting off 1/2 way across.  Has anyone had this issue before or know how to fix it?

I have reinstalled the application but it's made no difference.  Here's what I'm seeing ...

Hoping you can offer me some assistance.

Many thanks,

Amanda.

That can be caused a couple of ways...

Your text size (at the OS level) may be too large, or your screen resolution is set too low to support DW.

Since it looks like your interface text is a little larger than normal, I'd try changing that back to 100% if it's anything higher. If that doesn't work, you can try using the highest available  monitor resolution your system offers.

Hi Jon,

Thank you so much for your response.  Changing my resolution back to 100% worked!! 👍🏻

However, now I'll need a magnifying glass to read anything 🤣  I have a Samsung 3440x1440 resolution curved screen which recommends the size to be 200 (but I usually set to 150).

Is there any way of just adjusting DW but not the OS?

Many thanks,

Amanda.

Is the DW application frame maximized to full width?

Hi Nancy,

Thank you for your reply!  Yes, my application is at full frame.

Jon's response prior nailed it - it was my screen resolution.  However, I have a large curved monitor which requires a high resolution and that's causing the issue.  Hopefully there's a way around only changing the display resolution for DW and not at the OS level.

Many thanks,

Amanda.

LATEST

CS6 from 2012 is not HI-DPI aware. Sorry.

Your only options are:

  • change your screen resolution at the OS level,
  • get modern software (Creative Cloud by subscription,
  • revert to a lower res display that's compatible with 10 year old legacy software.
