Please only respond if the answer to the following question is yes.
I would like copies of the on-line help files for the following PVII extensions
Have you got any please? (they were on-line html versions not pdf's. The site is now closed. I've checked in the various web archives online without luck.)
Please note.
If you want a more general discussion around the topic of Dreamweaver and its alternatives, please don't use this post but either create a seperate post or feel free to continue on my original post here
Thanks Pat
Link to P7 manuals for download from my onedirve cloud follows. Apparently my previous attempt to attach pdfs here didn't work, so here is the safe link to download about 30 pdfs extension manuals and numerous notes https://1drv.ms/f/s!Alutu8kqjhMrgSG0-4cBSHf_3BoM?e=NXxn7r

Hi Patrice,
this is really great. I know from name from the old P7 forum. I have been a user of P7 since 2005 and I am using most of the P7 extensions in my large website. I have joined the Webassist Forum in case I need help or can help someone.
Happy new year!
Best wishes Paul

Hi Paul,
I have a slideshow using P7 IGM Image Gallery Magic. My client wants to have audio added to it. How do I add audio to IGM or do I use an alternate procedure?

I appreciate direction!
Thanks,

Audio isn't something you can just slap onto slideshows because they play back at different rates.
Re-create the slideshow with an audio track in Adobe After Effects or Premiere.
Export to MP4 video for the web.
Also, your bandwidth will be significantly higher with video/audio.

So grateful for this channel of communication!! DreamBuilder has two other virtual tours so for BUILDERS DREAM, I opted to use CANVA to create a mp4 with music. I think IGM is not able to have audio. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly! The gallery links to this page and then you click to go to the tour page. http://www.dreambuildersofthefloridakeys...dream.html
Cheers,

...some going back 15 years.

Nothing stays the same, though. Every 5-6 years, all sites require a rebuild. That's the cost of having an online presence that keeps pace with modern users & technologies.

That's a comforting thought to justify all the effort it will take to toss out the old and rebuild, using the latest widgets and file formats.

I make incremental changes every couple of years. I'm currently switching to a new code base with the latest version of Bootstrap, & getting rid of outdated dependencies like jQuery. Then I'll change a few variables & mixins to give the site a face lift. It won't take long. 🙂

Consistent with what may be a sign of the times, I did not know ProjectSeven was gone. They were my preferred, always the best. Still have a bunch of their extensions, but I'm not doing much design in Dreamweaver anymore.
I still teach design using Dreamweaver. Still the best. I'll miss P7. Al Sparber (RIP) and company were visionaries. They brought us all far.

The extensions still work for me, using the latest update of Dreamweaver.

Okay, I renamed the wrong config file. Found the correct one, went through the steps. I used Anastasly's Extension Manager and in my CC app they are all showing up, but still not in Dreamweaver. I tried using DMX Zone but when I launched it I got a blank screen. I reinstalled it, same result. This is what shows when I launch DMX Zone's Extension Manager. Does anyone know how to remedy that? Thank you!

If it was me, I'd start from the beginning, ie, shuut down DW, rename config again to something else, restart DW, shut down. DO not attempt to use Anastasly. Only use DMX. From the other notes:
First, be sure that you have re-started Dreamweaver after you renamed the configuration folder. Then shut Dreamweaver down.
In the DMXzone Extension Manager, if your extensions are listed as installed then you must first un-install each. Just click the X to the right of each extension. This will clear the extension database. Now you can install each one, one at a time.
Be sure that Dreamweaver is shut down during this operation.
~~HTH~~~
more notes
The missing link says to first shut down DW. Rename the config folder. Restart DW. Shut down DW. UNINSTALL all ext., then reinstall all extensions. Then restart DW.

I did start from the beginning including reinstalling Dreamweaver's latest version. From there I have done everything else you mention in the precise order. I also ran Unified Plugin Installer Agent command line basics in Terminal. When I entered the command to list plugins (./UnifiedPluginInstallerAgent --list all), they all showed up. They also show up in my CC application, Manage plugins. In Dreamweaver, under the menu item "Insert" Project VII appears with the arrow, but when I hover it, nothing shows.
I am unable to use the DMX Zone Extension Manager. When I launch it, I get a blank screen. I've reinstalled with the same result. Any ideas on that?
Thank you so much

P.S. At one time years ago I was able to use DMX Zone Extension Manager to install PVII extensions, because their logo is now on my various PVII extensions.

Thank you, I did that a couple days ago. Haven't heard back yet. I see there is a Facebook group so I will try that.
