has the Parameters... button in the File Select dialog box been removed or relocated in cc2021??
I'm just using cc 2021 for first time coming from CS5/6 and I can't seem to find the Parameters... button to setup/append url parameters in the File Select dialog box ... I tried reseting preferences folders to no avail.... I must be missing something!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
thanks
Tony

Amazing silence from adobe....
Adobe is moving away from dynamic support for dreamweaver..... at least in Windows that is.... still has it in Mac!
Time to move on to something that has a future in a world of IOT.... it seems Adobe has made the decision to concede to other more agressive web development tools... looking into Wapler...

This is a user to user forum. Adobe very rarely come here.
I would have tried to answer the question. Problem is that I do not know what you are on about and can only guess. A decade ago, Dreamweaver was equipped with server behaviours panels. These panels allowed easy inclusion of databases. Part of that, was the ability to set URL query strings to filter Database results. If that is what you are referring to, then, yes, this has been removed since then.

hey Ben
thanks for that... I see they have sort of brought that back for those who search it out.
what i'm talking about is in the file select/browse dialog box where you could append parameters to filenames and such making dynamic sites possible.... they kept it in the mac version and for some reason dropped it in the windows version... now the added complexity of manually typing in the parameter pairs or the dynamic code only opens the door for error and is much more time consuming... a real drag 😞

Tony, it angered me that Adobe did not update the server behaviours to accomodate the newer versions of PHP. Their solution: drop ADDT, Spry and server behaviours panels.
Fortunately, Webassist helped out. Besides having to pay more, it also meant that I was bound to Dreamweaver because of the extensions. DMXZone also helped out.
Problem is, that Adobe then decided to remove the Extension Manager, making it harder to install the extensions.
@Teodor of DMXZone then decided to build an alternative to Dreamweaver, called Wappler. And that is where I have been over the last 4 years.

Huh?
I don't know which version of Dreamweaver you have or which 3rd party extensions you're using. But after CS6, native Server-Behavior Panels were removed from ALL platforms of Dreamweaver CC (Win & Mac).
Ditto for the browse to Server-Side Include function. I have a custom code snippet for includes and manually type the file path.

All the server behaviors were removed sometime ago, Adobe never updated them and consequently they were removed as they used the outdated MySQL extension.
For up to date server side features you need to look at Webassist or DMXZone extensions the webassist ones are closer to the original built in Dreamweaver server behvaiors and would probably be easier to learn for you.
