[Moderator moved from Creative Cloud Services to Dreamweaver.]

I'm building an e-commerce website. I will be selling home decor products.

I need an app that can enhance my website entirely on the product image, landing page, etc

I need specific apps for an e-commerce website.

Thank you

Adobe's flagship code editor is Dreamweaver -- a tool for working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP files.  However there is no built-in e-commerce functionality in Dreamweaver except what you program manually.

Adobe's e-commerce platform is Magento -- an online site builder with e-commerce modules.

https://business.adobe.com/products/magento/magento-commerce.html

Which platform are you currently using for your website?  If it's built on WordPress, you should look at Woo Commerce  -- an e-commerce plugin specifically for WordPress sites.  Or if your current website is built on another platform like Drupal, Joomla, WebFlow, Wix, etc... you'll need to find an e-commerce solution that's compatible with your site's current platform.  Adobe has nothing to help you with that.

If you're starting at ground zero, begin at your bank.  Whichever shopping cart solution you decide on will need to be compatible with your merchant bank account and payment processing gateway so you can get paid.  🙂

I agree with the Nancy's comment... however, I would make a reservation about Magento. It is true that Magento remains one of the best online sales platforms, but it is also very complex to use, or at least to customize and get used to in order to really adapt it to your needs.

It is a real labyrinthine system, and this is not to mention if you need to customize the interface according to the seasons, promotions (sales periods, Valentine's Day, Christmas, etc. ...), ditto regarding the reduction of prices depending on the volume and the hat of the visitor (commercial, reseller, wholesaler, ect ...) ... which also takes to the level of billing and tax management... the system is designed with a great granularity of adaptation which makes it somewhat complex to set up

For this and depending on your needs, I would rather direct you to Prestashop https://www.prestashop.com/en.

Now, whether it is better to use a specific platform dedicated to online sales, or a CMS with a plugin ... there everything will depend on various criteria:

  • what are your sales needs, your audience, your inventory management and distribution tracking, your management of related or recommended products, the billing system... and so on
  • what are your skills in terms of code, in terms of back office management of packaged tools (use of plug ins, templates, pure server administration)... then compare the way each plateform distirbute plug in (free, premium, leasing...)
  • what is your approach to online business in general

Many people use Etsy as their online store.  For new sellers, it's a good starting point as no upfront transaction or processing fees are required until after the item sells.

It is true that such platforms are interesting for those who do not wish to dig or develop their own activity as a real job and real incomes...

because, the reproach that I make to these type of services, comes from the fact that if, and I say if, the activity develops (xhich is somehow the aim) and that the salesman wishes functionalities which are necessary to him, and which are not provided by the online service, then there... the troubles begin...

- no or few possibilities to export the sales books
- no or few possibilities to transfer customer references,
- no or little export of the catalog, and stock management (related products, images, references, description and so on...)
- no or little management and retrieval of statistics (periods, promotions, etc...)

in fact you have to start from scratch a new online store OR remain dependent and stuck with the current service

Just use PayPal or Stripe payment gateway, no merchant bank is involved. If your website explodes then you can consider using a more professional approach but for most Stripe or PayPal will be sufficient and both are fairly easy to set up, especially the simple buy now buttons, shopping carts can be a bit more involved.

After 5 days of silence, I'm guessing the OP has vanished.
