Well as per usual Adobe has broken a working feature.
Dreamweaver only connects to certain servers now via ftp. SFTP/FTP over SSL is broken.
I can connect perfectly to the server(s) in question with putty and WinSCP(sftp) on Windows, but as soon as I try with Dreamweaver it displays an 'FTP error occured - cannot make connection to host.' Triple, and Quadruple checked the server name.
- Windows 7 Firewall is allowing the program through.
- Antivirus turned off.
I see other people are having this problem and also with Muse. In fact one of these servers I cannot even connect via regular FTP now....
Any solutions yet?

Hi Ahsan,
Could you please let us know what exactly is not working for you?
Is it the link not working or SFTP connection itself.
You can directly email me also at: kudyaratadobedotcom

"That link is no longer valid."
Also the link to prerelease support with that message goes to a page that is black type on very dark grey AND the "contact support" button does not work.

This is what I get when I go to the aforementioned link
When I click the 'Close' button I get taken to a new page containing the DW Next.

Hi Ben,
I clicked Close, and then clicked the Prerelease program for Dreamweaver and was taken to the build. Let me know if that happens for you as well.
Thanks,
Preran

Thanks, Ben. As long as you are able to get to the page with the build, we are fine I think. There are a couple of checks that the site needs to do before that page which is why I think we are running into these issues. I will let the team know.

I have updated the link in Mahek's post. Can you test and let me know if it is OK?

I downloaded pre-release 11099 and tried to connect via SFTP to ndsuext.nodak.edu
Dreamweaver connected successfully! Thank you for fixing this. How soon will it be added to the regular release of Dreamweaver?

Thank you for letting us know. The feature will make its way into a future Dreamweaver update as soon as the internal testing is complete. Announcements on release dates are made by the team as soon as they are ready to go live. Stay tuned.

as correct by visiting: https://forums.adobe.com/message/10303257#10303257 and

I see no button or link to mark the answer as correct. The only option under actions is 'report abuse'. I clicked the 'helpful' link. Is that what you meant?

I've been unable to connect via SFTP using 19.0 Build 11193. After some experimentation I was able to connect by converting my private key to OpenSSH new format. I used PuTTYgen to do the conversion. Hopefully this helps someone. Adobe, it might be helpful to add a feature that autodetects the user's key format, or at least some wording in the site manager that tells the user which key formats are acceptable.
