Hello,
I have a bit of an issue with my account.
I went to reinstall CS6, Dreamweaver and Lightroom not subscription.
But during install it says my accout is temp restricted.
I had those apps installed on my current pc but I had HDD crash a month or two ago.
I now want to reinstall my software but need my keys or account unlocked.
I know those programs are no longer supported but I know you can unlock my keys again as Chat support said Adobe special team would handle the issues if I posted here.
Thanks in advance
Fred

You talked to Adobe support and they sent you here? That doesn't sound right. Neither does your error because you don't login with an account for the old version so your account cannot be restricted. That error only appears in the CC version if you fail to login after so many failed attempts.
If your license is saying revoked, you can follow this kb article ( https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/invalid-revoked-serial-numbers.html ) but it's likely that you need to go back after who sold you the product.
If you bought the product from Adobe directly you can go to your account area on the Adobe website to redownload and get your serial numbers.
Outside of that you will need to contact Adobe for assistance and this is a user to user support forum.

Hello,
Thanks for fast reply.
Since Original CS6, DreamWeaver and Lightroom are old I had issues before Adobe Shelved support for them.
Chat support said they no longer support CS6, or Dreamweaver or Lightroom as they are to old.
Chat support did say to post in Forums and that Adobe had a special team that would respond.
The company I purchased software from no longer exists.
I know my keys are real and have worked for years as I had an Adobe Employee who had helpped me in the past as he was a Manager.
All I know is on website I login fine but it is during the install after software asks for keys and I enter them and they are accepted, I get a popup with the restricted account and to contact support.
So I am doing what Adobe told me to do.
I think because I could not deactivate the software as system crashedm, that the license keys need to be freed up to use them again.
I just hope it is not like cs3 where they removed license servers after they stopped support it.
Thanks

Which operating system and version do you have?
I ask because older operating systems may not have sufficient security settings to connect with Adobe's Activation Servers.
Your system and your browser must support connections over TLS 1.2 or higher. See below.

I'm not sure CS6 will run on Windows 11. Sorry. CS6 is 11 year old software and Win11 is a brand new OS. 😵
Typically when you get new equipment/OS, you must also budget for new software that's compatible with it.
Creative Cloud apps are compatible with latest devices and OSs. 7 day free trials are available.
Creative Cloud Photography Plan (approx $10/month for 12 months). Includes the following:
- Photoshop CC and Photoshop on iPad
- Camera Raw
- Lightroom on desktop, mobile and the web
- Lightroom Classic (similar to LR6)
- Portfolio website + hosting
- Adobe Express (free starter plan)
- Bridge
- 20 GB cloud storage (upgradable to 1 TB).
- Free upgrades for paid subscribers

Hello,
Thanks for the info but I simply cant afford a subscription.
I dont even have netflix or other service.
My medical expenses are to high and no money for extra things.
All I need is my licenses reset and that weird account issue fixed.
And adobe still allows downloads for the products from the account page.
I know as I redownloaded them to be sure it was not my saved downloads being corrupt or something.
Thanks

I think you're grasping at straws. My magic wand can't put your equipment and OS back to a previous time. It is what it is. The best I can suggest is a modern code editor to replace DW CS6. See below.
LR6 is another matter. I have feedback from former LR6 users that it doesn't work on Win 11.

@Ben M,
CS6 is discontinued & unsupported. 😞
Adobe Agents can't help users with anything except an activation count reset.

Hello,
Thanks for fast reply to my issue.
I know my keys need to be reset as system crashed a month ago.
So I could not deactivate my licenses.
I dont use CS6 often so when I went to re-install today I kept getting that popup after I enter my keys.
Its very frustrating as I can see all my valid keys but that popup is stoping me.
Thanks
Fred
