I have been reading about the SVG .  Does everyone here save or convert their image files to svg formats?

Do NOT convert jpg to SVG.  It won't work.

 

SVG must be created in a vector graphics editor like Illustrator or Inkscape.   It's an ideal format for web icons, text, logos, trademarks, line drawings, flat colored shapes and cartoons.  SVG is NOT suitable for photos, paintings or images with complex shading or shadows.

 

To answer your question, yes.  I use math-based SVG as much as possible on the web because it scales up or down to any size without any loss in quality.  You can't do that with
