Fireworks is not a long-term solution that can be sustained indefinitely. Eventually, Windows will be updated such that you'll have to find other software you can use. In the meantime, make sure to convert all layered PNGs to file formats that support layers and can be opened by other graphics editors (TIFF, PSD, PDF, etc...). Be prepared to migrate when the time comes. 😊

Thanks Nancy - I think maybe Adobe should listen to its USERS, people don't want Fireworks to be ditched, they want it kept as it's an easy to use tool that speeds things up for lots of Adobe Users.

What do you mean install Adobe Manager? Login to your account? You need to be logged in to install, these steps don't make any sense to me!!

The installation version of fireworks cs6 through Creative Cloud is coming without Adobe Manager, which caused this whole problem. If you encounter this error, follow the steps described in this link, https://community.adobe.com/t5/fireworks-discussions/fireworks-not-working-after-installing-on-new-computer-with-window-11-through-creative-cloud/m-p/14724196#M3600. If you already have Adobe Manager installed, you don't need to do anything and can skip step 3.
