Better start a new topic with all information, including the full error message.

Not sure what error message 1722 is? I have not been able to get a solution to
my problem so I do not have anything I can help you out with. What operating
system do you have? I have Windows 7 & it sounds like I have been getting
suggestions from people who are on XP or Vista & do not work the same on Windows
7. I have successfully downloaded & installed the version 10.3.181.34 but for
whatever reason that is not being recognized when I go & try to watch a video.
It keeps telling me that I have to download & install the updated version of
Flash. Very frustrating to say the least!!

I was about to report a bug where 10.3.181.26 completely locks up my desktop (FF5.0/KDE4.4.5/Linux(Mandriva Linux release 2010.2 (Official) for i586
Kernel 2.6.33.7-desktop-2mnb on a Dual-processor i686 /). It requires a restart of KDE (not full reboot), resulting in DoS.
This bug is repeatable: view a flash video & switch to full-screen... only audio continues with NO keyboard/mouse click response other than switching to VTYs where I can kill Flash; but a restart of KDE with possible loss of data in other apps is required.

Still exists in this release. Off to see if there is bug reporting somewhere on this site...

Hi Seeker,
Could you give our labs release a try? If it's still broken, please file a bug over at bugbase.adobe.com.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
MUCH BETTER!!! Can switch in and out of full-screen mode and "Press
ESC..." fades out as it should...
Sure is nice not to lose all the stuff on my various desktops!
I'll keep this one as a reference for a while.
Thanks,
Pierre

Hi Chris,
ARGHHHHH!!! I just had a similar hang and had signed in to bugbase,
entered lots of information and when I clicked Submit, I was presented
with the LOGIN page again! Cookies are enabled, etc...
Without changing anything on my end, I was able to submit a bug against
bugbase itself... Bug 2933397
Trying to recall everything I put in original bug report... (will try to
resubmit bug after I record it here to avoid bug report data loss again)
Adobe Flash Player 11.0.1.60 Other
Importance: Frequency:Unknown Failure Type:Data Loss
Build: 11.0.1.60(beta)
Language & Platforms:English,English,Linux,Firefox5.0
Title: Full screen mode randomly hangs KDE desktop environment
Problem Description: Using beta version because production version hangs
when switching between full-screen/normal modes and results in having to
restart KDE desktops (8) which results in loss of unsaved data,
productivity and time.
This beta version was working fine, switching between full-screen/normal
modes. While in full-screen mode, I was doing a lot of pause/run
operations, and moving/clicking the time slider +/- a few seconds around
the 10:50 mark of the video at
http://theshortsalegenius.com/fundamental-flaw-of-real-estate-businesses-today/
It was paused for a while as I examined the chart in great detail (no
activity on my part). Then, when I moved the mouse to resume my
activities, the *control bar did not re-appear* this time. I pressed
ESC which did not appear to work, though I did notice that the mouse
pointer was changing (arrow, I-bar, hand) as I moved around the screen.
A few times, I clicked where I knew the browser tabs were located and got
audio which I know comes from certain other browser tabs. Keyboard was
working as I could switch to VTYs and enter commands there; but trying to
return to the KDE desktop environment only gave me the mouse cursor --
Flash Player was not returning control to KDE.
Apparently, ESC must have partially worked since I was getting audio
feedback and mouse cursor changes as it moved around the screen (before
switching to a VTY after which any attempt to return to KDE only gave a
mouse arrow over the VTY screen).
Steps to Reproduce: Unknown. The resulting data/productivity/time losses
are such that I really don't care to try to reproduce. This beta version
at least let me get to full-screen mode, unlike the production version
which killed me every time.
Actual Result: KDE desktop hand and loss of data/productivity/time
Expected Result: normal operation
Any Workarounds: none found yet
Configuration:
Flash Player version: LNX 11,0,1,60
Debug Player: No
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/5.0
Browser Version: 5.0 (X11)
Browser Name: Netscape

Hi again Chris...
Just tried resubmitting my bug report and again, I got dumped back out
to a login page:
https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=ca&returnUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fbugbase.adobe.com%2Findex.cfm%3Fevent%3DnewBug
This, after apparently successfully logging in... note that I was able
to successfully file a bug report against bugbase itself...

I really wish I could help you but I am still looking for an answer to my
problem. As I have said I have successfully downloaded & installed the version
10.3.181.34 but when I go to view a video my computer doesn't recognize it.
Question. If I uninstall the Flash Player completely off my computer can Windows
Media Player or any other video program run these videos or are we held captive
by Adobe? Does anybody know?

Hopefully enabling the active x control will solve your problem. If not, maybe we can setup a desktop sharing session so I could take a look at your system.
As for removing FP, Windows Media Player won't work. I don't know of any other plugins that will duplicate the functionality that FP has.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Sorry if i'm bothering you, but have NOT heard from you about the Mac Projector issue: that projector files (".fla" extension) are NOT opening on Macs, plus swfs are opening ONLY within Elmedia player on Macs. And i am unable to disseminate my work to Mac users, and waiting to hear if this is final. I should like to know if this is to do with the new release, or is it the same as Apple's ban on Flash Player with iPhones?
thanks.

Hi minimalcomfort,
I talked with our lead Mac guy and we'll need more information to know what the problem is. Is it possible for you to send us your projector and HTML/SWF files so that we can take a look? Feel free to email me directly at ccampbel@adobe.com.
Thanks,
Chris
