Flash Player plug-in not appearing in safari 12.1.1 preferences

Hello, I am using a Mac 10.13.6 and I have installed the latest version of Flash Player. However, I am having problems with enabling Flash Player in Safari (version 12.1.1). The tutorials say to go to plug ins under the websites section of preferences which are under the safari section. However, the Plug-ins tab does not appear as you can see in my screenshot. How do I fix this?Screen Shot 2019-08-15 at 2.10.44 PM.png

Yeah, the trend has been that every recent Safari update moves the Flash preferences.

This suggests that in some older versions of Safari it might be under Security. Worth a look.

Now on Safari Version 14.0 and MacOS 10.15.6.  This solution no longer works.

I do have indeed Safari 14 installed, is it possible to 'downgrade' to an older or previous version of Safari?

Thx!

You're both replying to a post that is one year old, for older verson of Safari.

Regarding "is it possible to 'downgrade' to an older or previous version of Safari?" That's a question for Apple, not Flash Player forums.

Apple dropped support for Flash Player in Safari 14 ahead of Flash Player's end-of-life at the end of 2020. If you've upgraded to Safari 14 (released Sept 16) you'll need to use one of the other supported browsers:  Google Chrome, Firefox, or Opera.

Please post a screenshot of System Preferences > Flash Player > Updates.

Perhaps you updated to Safari 14? If so, one of the exciting new features was that you would be never able to use Flash Player again. Apple ahead of the curve again!

This discussion topic doesn't apply to Safari 14.  Apple dropped support for Flash Player in Safari 14.  You'll need to use a different, supported, browser; Google Chrome, Firefox, or Opera.
