It's bad enough we have to endure your endless updates but when you try and trick users into installing McAfee AV its a sign that you've lost the plot.

The article you link to is from 1.5 years ago. Google and Firefox continue to support Flash Player. At this time Flash Player is the only NPAPI plugin supported by Firefox.
While Flash Player isn't the best solution for all applications, it is still viable and appropriate for some applications.

All I can say is I think Adobe is really making a huge mistake. I forgot how much I resent them for this trickery approach. Obviously this shows the slime-balls they really are. I'm sure they'll go out of business soon. They must be hurting hard if they have to trick customers. That's the kind of stuff con-artists do. I held Adobe to a higher standard. Obviously I was wrong.
