Activate vs. REactivate on new install

Problem: on a machine it seems there was already an installation for FrameMaker 8, activated.

However, another, new version for another user was installed. The old version was removed by un-install. The new version has another serial as the removed version.

But we get a REactivate message!

This is not what we want. We want to activate with the new serial. Now we can give the new serial on startup, but this still leaves us with the REactivate message...

Wich (invisible?) files need to be removed to get a fresh activate for the new serial?

Windows Vista, Frame 8.01

You can re-install FrameMaker with the original serial number and
de-activate. When you uninstall FrameMaker you should be given the
option of removing the activation information. You should approve this
and then you can start everything from scratch.
