Anyone know if there are plans fro a native M1/2/3 version of Framemaker? I would lover to integrate it into my clients workflows. (Our environment does not permit Windows emulators).

I have no official information, but I doubt it. There was a Mac version of FrameMaker for years before Adobe abandoned it. I don't remember the exact timeline, but Klaus Daube will likely respond with some historical links.

Our clients (and we) used Framemaker Mac extensively until Adobe abandoned it. A lady who worked for us learned to program at our then shop back in the 1970s, largely self-taught. She was an ardent champion of SGML and ultimately, went on and became project manager for Frame. (RIP, Lani) All our servers and workstations are Macs -- it's more than enough to keep the workflows updated and integrated so we have never installed or used anything Microsoft. We went straight from Unix mcros to OS X when it came available.

On https://www.daube.ch/docu/fmhist00.html I visualize that a Mac version was only available until FM-7... in early 2002.

Yes, I understand that it was discontinued. We used it up until then. I was asking to see if there are plans to re-introduce as an Apple M-series native code ... to the best of my knowledge, there are quite a number of Mac/Unix centric enterprises that do not permit Microsoft emulators on their Networks,
