bug reporting system is broken

Google "framemaker bug report system" and after a few clicks you arrive at https://tracker.adobe.com/#/add_bug . This web page presents some inscrutable fields. The first one is "version". I go to Help > About Framemaker and it displays the following: 17.0.0.226. this is not in the pulldown menu for "version". My best guess is that the leading 17 indicates that the version is FM2017 in the pulldown. Another problem further down the page is the field called "build". There is nothing in Help > About Framemaker called "build". My best guess is that the build is 17.0.0.226. The fix to both of these issues would be to align the information in About Framemaker with the pulldowns in the bug reporting system. However, when I guess that I have filled in correct information and click on "submit" it just gives me a cryptic error message. Perhaps this bug reporting system is no longer functional. In that case it should be taken down from the web so that google search won't find it.

Here's my shortcut to the versions:
FrameMaker (2015 release - confusingly, internal version 13.0) in June 2015
FrameMaker 2017 (internal version 14.0) released in January 2017
FrameMaker 2019 (internal version 15.0) released in August 2018
FrameMaker 2020 (internal version 16.0) released in 2020
FrameMaker 2022 (internal version 17.0) released in 2022

That (for any Adobe product) is the number to report in Version field.
As you can see from Jeff's helpful roll-up, "17" or "FM17", for example, would be entirely ambiguous.

Hi Fred,

I recommend to update your FrameMaker installation to FM 17.0.3.546, even if you do not have any other issues than an online help which could be improved.

When the Adobe Tracker shows an error message, it could be that you had not filled in all fields. What does the cryptic error message say?
