Can't zip HTML5 output because there are n dashes in file names

ok, this is a left field one. My FM file names do not contain n dashes, but my Heading 2s and Heading 3s do (e.g "Diesel Storage - Monthly Inspection). When I create the HTML5 output and split into topics based on Headings 1, 2 and 3 FM create HTML files using the heading wording (which includes n dashes).

When I try to zip the HTML5 output I can't because it isn't happy about file names containing dashes. Hence no way to zip and send this info to people when I need to.

Any workaround that doesn't involve recreating every heading wording would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like 7-zip is working. Happy days.

Have you tried using another zip utility? There are more than one zip utility like 7z / Zip / Tar / RAR ? I have an old version of WinZip installed and I do sometimes encounter compression issues like the one described, but I can usually work around by using another compression algorithm.

Just to disambiguate the problem, what character code point is used for the en dashes?
I might presume:
– U+2013 EN DASH
which is legit as a file name in Windows, as is…
- U+002D HYPHEN-MINUS

So it seems to be a defect in the zip util.

I don't know. I'm using Insert Symbol in FM.

ArmadilloC: I don't know. I'm using Insert Symbol in FM.

I just checked that in FM2020, and that generates a U+2013.
However, even if it had been the legacy way of doing endash in FM (\xd0), that would appear to the operating system as
Ð U+00DO LATIN CAPITAL LETTER ETH
which might be confusing visually, but should be a legal in a filename.
