Change sortorder tabelrows

Hi there,

In FrameMaker you can sort table rows, ascending or descending.

Is it possible to change the sort order for tablerows? For example: normally the letter Ä (A with umlaut) will be sorted by the letter A. I want to change sort order so it will be sorted after the letter Z.

I hope someone can help me.

    Kees,

    I would assume you are out of luck with this. The table sorting feature is an FDK plug-in that ships with FrameMaker for some time and it has not changed. Although Index sorting in FrameMaker is a powerful as you want it, this little plug-in does what it does and nothing else.

    You would need to write your own table sorter using the FDK or a scripting language.
