Convert a book to RST from FrameMaker 11?

Hi,

I made a book in FrameMaker 11. Just 20 pages. Only 5 files in in.

Can I convert this book to RST, somehow? We have a platform that only supports RST.

Converting from PDF may be another option, but that will need much manual work, I guess.

You are talking about reStructuredText format, right?

There is no out-of-the-box support for this. You might want to talk to Markus Wiedenmaier. He might have a converter for this or be able to build one.

Yes. reStructuredText. Any make-shift arrangement will do.

FM>HTML>RST

PDF>RST.

FM > any other format > RST.

Quick google reveals that there's a bunch of PDF to RST or HTML to RST tools out there - why would you use FM to create docs when there's so many developer tools out there to go straight from programs to docs? Just wondering...


This is a FM doc that I inherited. RST request came just now.

I tried the online ones, specially the PDF ones. Does not work properly.
