Different color lines in tables?

Hi

I want to create a predefined table (tag) with lines of different colors. The table header is dark blue and I want to make the inside column lines white. But only in the header. The table body cells are white with black column lines. I don't want to insert a table first and then use the "custom ruling&shading..." every time I want to insert this table in my document.

Has anyone any solution to this?

    The Table Catalog doesn't allow for the storing of such customizations. All you can store for a table definition is what you can define via the Table Designer, even if you want to tweak things at the MIF level.

    What you can do is to create your customized table in a text frame on a Reference page and then copy & paste as required when you need to insert it.

    An alternate approach would be to use Silicon Prairie's AutoText tool to store the table design and insert when required. See: http://www.siliconprairiesoftware.com/Products.html

    Thanks. I didn't thought about using the ref page. That's one way to do it. I will also check the Silicon Prairie's AutoText tool.
