So, I fired up my laptop today and ran FrameMaker 12.

And a 30-day trial started.

I have TCS 15, FM 12, installed on this laptop and have been using it for years.

What's going on? What's the fix? What the heck?

Cheers,

Sean

Hi Sean.

We'll I'm glad it was this easy to fix.

I've been storing all serial numbers in a password-saving app for years so I know exactly where to go when this happens. On the Creative Cloud side this issue has disappeared, because applications are licensed simply by logging in with our Adobe IDs. But on the TCS side, and for most of my other applications, this is still my workflow.

Happy new year to you, Sean!

Hi Sean:

Are you signed out via the FM 12 Help menu? Can you sign back in?

Hi,

I used the serial number and reregistered it. So, it's good now.

But, what the heck?!

And, it's a pain to find serial numbers, especially when the software is older.

Cheers and thanks for the suggestion.
