Framemaker 11 crashes each time at startup

I downloaded Framemaker 11 and tried to start it, but it crashes each time when the APE module is loaded.

I get several internal errors: 11004, 7205188, 9948885. I've included the logfile in this posting. The OS is Windows 7 Professional.

I urgently need a working version of Framemaker. My previous version was damaged, and also the installation DVD contains several read-errors. Could I somewhere download Framemaker 10 for which I have a valid license key and which was working properly until a few days ago?

I would try to get your FM11 install working - uninstall it & re-download it (as you said your DVD media has errors). Then reinstall with full admin rights to your machine - remember, since Vista, just being a local admin doesn't automatically give you full rights to all drives on your machine - you have to give yourself full control.

I see: "Download Adobe FrameMaker 10 tryout" on this page:

http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?platform=Windows&product=22

I have no idea if that link works, or if delivers 10 or 11.

That link currently takes you to the general Adobe downloads page where you can get a trial of the FM 11 version only.
