FrameMaker2015 Can't generate PDF

I need assistance. We have a writer with FM 2015 who is unable to generate pdfs. The options are not available in her File Menu. She does not have Acrobat Professional DC.

We have tried repair, uninstall, reinstall. Unsuccssful.

Troubleshooting tips greatly appreciated.

We still have not heard back from Adobe, but for anyone else experiencing this problem, the workaround for our writer was to first install a previous version of FrameMaker and then install FrameMaker 2015. The Acrobat Distiller Artifact from the previous install apparently correctly triggered the FrameMaker 2015 Distiller MSI to install correctly and the writer can generate PDFs from chapter and book correctly.

Did this used to work for them or is this something new? What's changed? Do they have an Adobe PDF printer instance?

Hi Jeff, That was my thought as well: I'm thinking the lack of distiller is the issue. It is a Fresh Install of FM2015. New Hire, new PC, has never installed FM previously. Although the Framemaker MSI has distiller executables in the Build folder, they must not be triggered by the FrameMaker.MSI install, and attempts to manuall install generates errors. The Adobe PDF Creation Addon is not functional - we are not getting an Adobe PDF printer option, or a postscript file (ps) print to file option either. Cant set printer settings, job options, etc. It all points to Adobe Distiller not being installed.
