How can I change the color of table border in Adobe Frame Maker?

I find this panel not that intuitive.

Thanks for my morning laugh, Winfried. That's quite the understatement. 😂

Amit: I think you may be asking how to change the color for your caution table rule? This post explains how to edit the ruling styles available in Table Designer, thought it looks like I need to update the screen shots. The logic still holds.

1: Select the table cells whose borders you want to change

2:Open Custom Runling and Shading panel from Table->Custom Ruling and Shading

3: Take note of how you select which cell border you are going to work with.

    4: Click Edit Ruling Style.

5: Now you can edit the color of the cell border like this:

6: Please not how FM has a predefined number of cell border styles, like Thick, Thin etc. In the screendump here, I have edited the Thick style. Meaning that when I, for instance, selet Magenta as my new Ruling Style like this:

... and click Set and Apply, I will get an edit to the Thick ruling style that will make my cell borders look like this:

You can also define your own ruling style by changing the name of the style in Edit Ruling Style.

The colors you can choose from are FM's built-in colors + what ever colors you may have created yourself.

And note that only that will change what you mark:

    Ruling or Shading

Top/bottom/left/right edges of the selected columns

    Inside borders

From Table means that this will use the setting which was stored in the Table Designer.

I find this panel not that intuitive.

This is also explained in the online help:
