How do I get rid of an extra "end of chapter" symbols ?

I have two of these separated by paragraph symbols - they are messing up my book - how can I get rid of one of them - help !

    That symbol represents an end of the flow. If you are seeing two of them, then I suspect that you have one text frame sitting on top of another. Select a text frame and move it slightly to see if there's one beneath. Delete which ever one needs to go and adjust the location of the remaining text frame accordingly.

    Hello – I have another question: how do I set a keyboard shortcut key to be associated with a specific font that I used as text or body ? Thanks.

    You don't [and can't].

    You can use the F9 and start typing the paratag name. If you've designed the tag names to be unique with the first two characters, then it's quite fast.

    For example, if your standard body tag is named "Body" and no other tags use "Bo"   as the first two characters, then you only need to enter:

    <F9> B o <Enter>

    to apply the correct format to the paragraph.

    Also, for selected text, you can use the <F8> shortcut to apply a different format to that.
