I believe I am running my head against something super simple, but never the less something I don't understand. I want to insert a table with a footer row in a DITA topic (or any other FM structured document), but for some reason that is not possible? The structure breaks in every context, and I have not been able to fix it either using the EDD. What is it that I don't understand here? Can anybody help?
FM 20222, structured, Version: 17.0.1.305
Best regards

Hi Bjørn, Can you post what you did in the EDD? Did you try importing the Element Definitions into your sample document? -Rick

Hi Rick
I merely clicked New Topic in FrameMaker and inserted a table element and asked to have a footer row as well.
It seems, though, that DITA 1.3 does not support having footer rows in tables. Which is odd and maybe I misunderstanding something here.

You could modify the EDD and template to make a footer row valid in FrameMaker, but then it wouldn't be valid DITA.

I tried figuring out whether DITA 1.3 supported table footers, but I must have gotten it wrong. So I tried modifying the edd and much to my surprise I still couldn't make the structure valid 🙂 Thanks for the suggestion!
