Question

How do I space out parts of formula created in the FM Equations editor?

I have created formula within my template file using the Eqautions editor and applying fonts using the defined styles saved in my character designer. This template when aplied to my FM file means all formula are now in the correct font and works fine. My problem is the client wants the spaces between the parts of the formula to be bigger, I have found that by highlighting each part, going to the 'positioning' tab on the equation editor and increasing the space at the right hand size will work, this means highlighting each part manually. Once I import it into my FM file it does not change my equation automatically.

Is there a way to apply bigger spaces between the parts of my equation in the template so it automatically applies it to my FM file?

    Open the Equations editor.

    Click 'Equations v'

    Click 'Equation sizes... (!pe)

    Change the 'Horizontal Spread'

    Click 'Set'.

    Or am I teaching you to suck eggs?

    Thank you, unfortunately I've already tried this option and it puts spaces in between every character not just parts. As you can see in the uploaded image underlined in red. Our client does not want all characters spread out.

    So you change the spacing either side in;

    Equations

    Position Settings...

    Spacing:

    Left:/Right:

    And then, with the equation selcted, Equations >  Update Definition > Update.

    ?

    Can you not upload it to www.tinpic.com or www.photobucket.com or similar?
