How do you create rounded tables in Frame 7?

Hi

I'd like to create a table with rounded edges in Frame 7, is this possible? I don't see this option in my 'Table Designer'.

Thanks

Carin

The short answer is "No, not easily."

If you want it badly enough to fiddle with it whenever you change the size of the table, you could use the drawing tool to draw a rounded corner rectangle around the table in place of the outer rule.

Or, in a variety of that, create an anchored frame, put a text container inside it, add the table, and then add the rounded corner rectangle to the anchored frame.

Too much work, IMHO, but....

Thanks Art, I think you might be right...too much work, I don't mind work, but I can't guarantee that the next person working on the document will be of the same mind.

Thanks again, for taking the time to reply.

Cheers

Carin

As Art said, not so easy to do and maintain manually. However, this could be a nice little FrameScript that could be re-run everytime one changes the table content.

If you would use this feature a lot, then check out FrameScript at http://www.framescript.com

For more info and other examples of scripted solutions (as well as a capable script provider) see: http://www.frameexpert.com

Thanks Arnis, I'll check out the scriptlinks - always keen to learn more about scripted solutions.

Cheers, Carin.
