How to add a Book Cover Page in Adobe Frame Maker?

    Hi Amit:

     

    Or open one of the two cover templates in Standard Templates, add your content, and then add it to you book. 

     

    I found this screen shot on FrameMaker's help pages, using the standard templates you asked about in your other question. Notice how the Cover.fm is added to the top of the book. Also that the chapter or section template was renamed to reflect the content: General-Description.fm, Systems.fm and Operating-Limitations.fm. The folders shown for Preface content and Operating content are optional. Folders can be used to organize the content, or the chapters can all be added at the same level.

     

    The general workflow is first you create all the content chapters. Then you create a book and you add the chapters into the book in the correct order as shown below. Then you define numbering. Then you add the generated files  like the TOC and Index. You can read more about books here:

    Create a FrameMaker document, add your cover content just like you would add content to any other FrameMaker document, and add it to your FrameMaker book.
